Get Involved - Volunteer!

Casa Esperanza Homeless Center and Community Kitchen have a wide range of volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, agencies, and corporations. We encourage you to find the one that is right for you. Please contact the volunteer coordinator of Casa Esperanza: Call JB at 979-8710

Our volunteer application can be found here. Fill it out and send it via email or bring it into the center with you! Only after submitting an application and meeting with JB will anyone be scheduled for a volunteer shift.

Community Kitchen: 365 Days a year Casa Esperanza's Community Kitchen is open serving Santa Barbara's hungry and homeless. This program provides up to 600 meals a day. With only a handful of paid staff members, volunteers are the life-blood of this program. Opportunities are available to help prep and serve food during the week. Both individuals and groups are welcome.  Urgent Need – Weekday support in our Community Kitchen!

Front Desk & Administrative Support: Interact directly with those we serve by being the smiling face at the front desk or by supporting one of our team members with administrative support. Volunteers go through a front desk training period before they are scheduled for a shift. Urgent Need – Weekend and evening support in our Day Center!

Rightscale volunteers at Casa Esperanza Homeless CenterCorporate Volunteering: Casa Esperanza is grateful to the many companies in our community -  from small business to large corporations - whose employees and executives come volunteer at Casa. Whether once a year, or once a month, local companies make a difference. Visit our photo gallery!

You can help ensure the work being done at Casa Esperanza continues by hosting a fundraiser. If you have an idea for a fundraiser or would like to help creating a fundraiser - contract JB at: (805) 979-8710.
