Casa Esperanza Homeless Center and Community Kitchen have a wide range of volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, agencies, and corporations. Community Kitchen: 365 Days a year Casa Esperanza's Community Kitchen is open serving Santa Barbara's hungry and homeless. This program provides up to 600 meals a day. With only 3 paid staff members volunteers are the life-blood of this program. Opportunities are available to help prep and serve food during the week. Both individuals and groups are welcome.
Urgent Need – Weekday support in our Community Kitchen!
Front Desk & Administrative Support: Interact directly with those we serve by being the smiling face at the front desk or by supporting one of our team members with administrative support. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday, from 8-11 am for the morning shift and 4:30-7:30 pm in the evening. Urgent Need – Weekday support in our Day Center!
Fund raising: You can help ensure the work being done at Casa Esperanza continues by hosting a fundraiser. If you have an idea for a fundraiser or would like to help creating a fundraiser - contract Rob at: (805) 884.0123.
Street Outreach: Help the Street Outreach team engage people living on the streets of our community. Volunteer opportunities exist with the Street Outreach team, contact the volunteer coordinator for more information and to schedule a ride along session.
