Casa Esperanza is open 24 hours a day,
365 days a year. Offering a wide array of services for the homeless, with an
emphasis on both emotional and physical health, 12 different program partners
collaborate to bring recovery to the homeless – all under one roof. The ability
of Casa to be able to continue this work relies heavily on the support of
generous donors within our community such as you. We are grateful for your
support.

Matching gift programs are a great way to get
your employer involved with the work of Casa Esperanza. Many companies will
match your contribution dollar for dollar and some will double, or even triple,
a donation's value. If you have questions about your company's matching gift
program, please contact your human resources office.
Once you have determined that your company
matches donations made to the Casa Esperanza, obtain the appropriate form from
your human resources office and send it with a copy of your gift receipt to the
address below:

Please be sure to complete the entire donor
portion of the form and to include a copy of your gift receipt (if available).
Employee Giving
Many workplaces offer the opportunity to make
a donation to a charity pre-tax. This can be done through the simple process of
a payroll deduction or by specifying Casa Esperanza as your company's United
Way recipient.

Planned Giving
Planned Giving is an excellent way to
establish a legacy and help thousands. A planned gift to Casa Esperanza helps
ensure the future of those in need while furthering your financial goals.
Planned Giving options include:
Bequest
Some supporters make charitable gifts by
naming Casa Esperanza as a beneficiary in their wills. A bequest is a written
statement in your will that specific assets, or a percentage of an estate, will
be given to Casa Esperanza. A bequest allows you to establish a legacy and does
not require you to part with assets during your lifetime.
Life Insurance Gift
You can choose to name Casa Esperanza as a
beneficiary to receive all or a portion of your life insurance policy proceeds
at death. You are entitled to a charitable tax deduction equal to the cash
surrender value of the property and any future premiums paid if Casa Esperanza
is named as the owner and beneficiary of the policy.
Stock Gift
You can choose to donate appreciated
securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) to Casa Esperanza. This donation will
entitle you to a deduction of the full value of the security.
If you are considering making a charitable
bequest to the Foundation, please contact Rob Grayson, Director of Development,
at (805) 884.0123.
Please also consult your tax advisor, financial
advisor, or estate planning attorney for additional information.
